Women Educators and Community Health
Explore the legacy of Filipino women educators through archival materials and interactive poster-making activities.

WORKSHOP - Limited to 15 guests

Sep 23, 2025 Oct 5, 2025

This focused workshop highlights the contributions of Filipino women educators who championed health and sanitation awareness in their classrooms and communities. Participants will engage with oral histories, letters, and archival photographs, then join facilitated conversations on how women’s leadership shaped public knowledge at a grassroots level.

As part of the session, small groups will design a short public health poster inspired by these early pioneers, blending historical styles with contemporary issues (such as handwashing or clean water access). The workshop is limited to 15 participants to create an intimate and collaborative environment.
